yeah...I think that any problems that your list encountered comes from your three support unit choices. Full command with the Saurus cavalry is rather unnecessary at 1000 pts, 1 salamander pack wont give enough kills to cause panics or stop flankers, and jungle swarms are too circumstantial for 1000 pts. Besides the Saurus cav., there just isnt much umph to your list. I would suggest trying to fit in a JSoD, and/or dropping the salamander and swarms for a Krox unit.
small krox units are cheap and work great in 1k lists, also a JSoD is very useful as has been said and can fill a variety of roles. I like your small saurus units, they should do well at this level. Be careful with pts costs though mate, you can't post individual upgrade costs, thankee
Have you fielded this army before? I have always theoryhammered a lot about whether small 10-12 man units of Saurus could be effective, and was wondering what your experience with these units was.
