They look very cool. I love the horns on the stegadon, that is the kind of thing I am trying to do on mine. How do you do it? Careful highlighting with a thin brush or is there an easier way? Welcome to the forum!
thanks yeah i use 8 layers of colors on all the normal-big siza horns. the fact that there is stripes allready in the horn made is easier to work with. Snakebite leather Devlan mud 1/3 up the horn Babas black 1/5 up the horn then i layerd snakebite leather snakebite leather+plus bleched bone same as before but more bleached bone bleached bone and skull white.
Very nice looking army so far, welcome to the site. You should take a look into the 300 point club if you are still in the painting process of your army.
welcom to the group. very nice colour scheme, good natuaral look . also like your stegadon so far, can't wait to see it finished in its full glory.
i have to apologise in this thread, after seeing the colour scheme i have started re-painting my models in a slight variation from it, i could never get a green scheme i liked fully and didnt think about using such a pale green colour before the washes so *colour scheme stolen*
Awsome! Like the way the skin blends in with the root of the horn, make it look tough and very realistic
