New Sylvaneth models - pictures

Not played any for a bit but the points and handbook do make me want to look more at AOS again but 90% of my models are now multibased for KOW and I have a Dwarf army to build and paint, I could still play AOS with my Goblins and Orruks.

Seraphon, Undead, Ogres are all multibased, just got to finish off the bases.

So, there are now two elf armies with treemen?

edit: when I looked at the pictures I thought these were some kind of chaos army/models. Didn't realise they were woodelfin until I read some of the replies.

It's the new AoS world... everything is a mismatch amalgamation. The distinct armies of the past are constantly fading and will eventually be no more. :(
 
Wow... I really REALLY like these. Hopefully my wife does as well, I think that Alarielle the Beetle Queen will make a great addition to the Aesmel. She doesn't really like bugs though...
 
Hahaha I love the Ladybug idea.

I've looked long and hard at these new Sylvaneth models on the web store and for the first time EVER I'm actually liking the look of some hippy nature faction. I never liked wood elves, I don't like Night Elves in the Warcraft franchise and the druid faction in Warmahordes is by far my least favourite (not to mention the Druid class in WoW... fuck those guys!) but the Sylvaneth.... So much like. I'm seriously considering adding heaps of Sylvaneth to my wife's army even though chances are she will never ever play the game. They're just so cool!
 
If I ever should paint the bug I think I'll go for this scheme

Such great models -- I stopped into my GW the day after release, and only a few boxes of revenants left!
