    Hey y'all,
after a pretty long while I'm now activly back to the forum.
Before this blog I had one about an avatar-themed-army but due to the painting and converting
level I was back then, it was'nt easy to maintain this theme and got pretty frustrating sometimes.
In all that time I allways continued painting, trying to improve my techniques and results.
For my army I now have a more "dinoish" concept in mind and my head is full of unorganized
    thoghts about new army fluff.
Now, what I have to add is, that I'm a total perfectionist and I hardly get satisfied with my results.
Because of that I often overpaintet models I did'nt like until sometimes, in extreme cases, my models
    looked more ruined than before.
Having now reached a painting level that even I think is going in the right direction, made me look for something
to strip the paint off my models and after several experiements I found out that spiritus/spirit (the stuff for camping stoves) works very well (it has about 98% ethanol, maybe that's the trick) and I was able to save
even those models that where just a blob of dried paint with legs.
While this repainting method is a very slow method to make progress with your army, it is still nice that you allways have the chance to upgrade the troops you wouldnt field anymore.

Enogh of this grey theory, now it gets more practical.
    My army now consists of:

    Finished models/units:
    - 1 Slann starmaster named "tlanextile"
    - 1 Skink starseer
    - 1 Skink priest with feathered cloak
    - 10 Saurus warriors with clubs
    - 5 Chamo-Skinks

    W.I.P-models/units
    - 1 unit Ripper (2 rippers finished)
    - 10 Saurus warriors with spears (7/10 finished)
    - 10 Saurus warriors with clubs (primed)
    - 1 Troglodon (still in stripping bath)
    - 1 unit Terradons (once those where the "Ikran" of my Avatar-army,freshly stipped and with terradon bits reassambled)
    - 5 Chamo-Skinks (primed)
    - 5 Saurus knights on D.E. cold ones (3/5 knights painted, cold ones primed)
    - 10 skinks with spears and shields(5/10 finished)
    - 1 Salamander greenstuff-modeling try (in build)

Here are finally some pics of my more ore less finished models and also terrain. Thanks to everyone who made it 'till here!
(photo quality's not allways the best sorry for that)

Really like how your army is shaping up!

And the terrain! I have made a bunch of buildings like the one you put together, would love to see more like it!

Thank you very well @Warden ,of course your countless, beautifully detailed,
terrain peaces where a great Inspiration.
    Thanks for that as well.
Im planning on making way more terrain but I found it allways difficult to focus on building
when I still have minis to paint, espeacially when youre a slow painter like me.
The next big terrain project I have in mind, is a set floating Islands (a remnant from the avatar-theme)
where the skink tribe lives that tamed rippers and terradons.
Still cant say whenever i'll find time to start the project though.

Thanks @Sudsinabucket, I've seen your blog aswell, just loving your thunderlizard.
I really think that Lizardmen have more howda-potencial than the stegadon.
I mean there are so many big dinosaurs actually.
You showed us once more what's possible!

What a nice re-entering of the forums. I like the spamming ;)

Nice work on those models, I really like the eyes of your skinks, looks like their eye-balling me :D
Good luck on the remaining part of your army.

    Keep up the good work.

    Gr, Imrahil

thanks to everyone for the positive feedback!
I just glanced over my own pictures and realized how blurry they are.
For the next bunch I promise I'll try to get better ones maybe with a real camera
because right now all the detail for example on the Skink-riders is unrecognizable.
