My friend's cat really liked to drink water from a dripping faucet and got in the sink whenever someone went in the bathroom knowing they would turn the faucet on soon.

To fix this, my friend ran the spigot in the bathtub slightly every time he used the bathroom, so the cat went to the bathtub instead.

A past cat of mine used to fight the water any time there was a tap running. It was great. I'd often turn it on slowly just to watch him spar with the running water.
