    The highlighting on that weapon is fantastic. Excellent colour gradient and the edge highlighting is perfect.

    I love the base, really makes them feel like an ambushing unit coming out of the tall grass like that. Love the highlights too, gives the skin a great sense of texture.

    He doesn't really guard them though. In fact he is quite giving when it comes to painting advice and explanations of his processes. Perhaps he should be Keeper of Paints or even Quartermaster of Paints!

    I wish I could paint this well lol. How did you get so good? This isn’t even funny lol. If I could paint half as good as this I could sell my stuff as professionally painted lol.

    Mainly practice. He has been doing that for quite a while.
    (Which means: he is old. :D )

    Your Sunblood from the SCBox looks lovely. His scales in particular came out very crisp.

    On and off I’ve painted for about 10 yrs so lots of practice but the biggest thing is don’t be scared to screw things up, that is the fastest way to learn how to do something right.

    At the moment I paint to get stuff done my next goal is to slow down and improve the quality.
