I'm not sure if this is the place for this, but you'll find my army in various stages of paintedness here: http://imgur.com/a/Obfhl#0. I'll update the thread when I add new images. Questions, comments, and critiques welcome!
I like your Stegadons. If you give your pictures pic tags they can be visible directly in your posts.
Skink priest Skink skirmishers (same unit, multiple pics) Saurus Warriors Multiple Views of my old pewter stegadon Temple Guard Cold One Cavalry Saurus Scar-Vet/Oldblood on Cold One (in progress)
Hmmmm.... hadn't thought of putting the head piece on the shield before, I have to say it looks prety kool.
Wow, absolutely brilliant. The mask on the shield brings a lot of character to the model (something I'm finding more and more lacking with lizardmen models). The chief/priest looks great, as do the skirmishers, but you could always add pupils to their eyes. Not sure if I'm a fan of having the hafts of the temple guard weapons and standard being the same colour as their skin... no, definitely not, but otherwise, they're well painted. Those stegs are well painted, too. I really like the horns on your purple/red one. Can't wait to see more.
Thanks for the complements and critiques. My wife said the same thing about the skinks, so I'll probably give them all pupils this week. I hadn't thought about the weapon hafts. I'll look for a good wooden color, probably something dark, but definitely brown instead of black/gray.
More pics, new units. Skroxigor unit, sorry for bad lighting, my camera wouldn't cooperate Updated Temple Guard (brown hafts now), a little blurry
Thanks very much. I've really enjoyed painting them and they've been a nice change of pace from the Grey Knights/Space Marines I play in 40k. The organic nature of the models makes for some interesting challenges, but I feel like I've learned a lot since I started painting them.
Realized it has been a while since I posted any pictures. Here's my latest stuff. Saurus with spears Bastilodon Troglodon Carnosaur
It's some good and solid paint job you've got there! It's nice to see a troglodon, they get far too little love. I plan to paint one myself sometime in the future.
Thanks guys! I'm almost finished painting 12 more Saurus with spears, which brings that unit up to 32 ( a more durable/effective number for the spears). I also just bought Tetto'eko and he's an amazing sculpt. I'll post him here as soon as I've finished him up.
