I recently started playing AoS and i liked (as you may imagine) the Seraphon so i bought the Start Collecting set. Now i have to face the challenge of painting a lot of models and i have to choose a color scheme for my army... I had a few ideas and i came up with a mostly white black and blue color scheme (The basecoat is white and the scales are black and blue the details are mostly blue the weapons are golden or silver). I need help because it's my first paint job so i have little to no idea of what to do exactly to complete this project... I can't also choose a color for the saurus warriors' shields... Post your opinions and ideas i'm open to change the color scheme if better ideas come up.
    Thanks

Looks awesom so far, the shields I might go black with silver details, think it would complement this well.

First off, welcome, second OMG you are trying a very tricky combination but it is doable ;)

Base coat all your models with a white primer this will save you loads of time painting the skin then paint all the scales etc you can then wash the full model with a blue wash go very lightly on the skin, that will add depth to the skin but not too much.

Be sure to do two thin coats, as our lord and savior has said.

Gradiants of white from any range could give a nice depth to the skin before doin a light blue wash.
