Sorry to spam probably another post regarding this but I've seen a few threads about a website where you can test colour schemes on Saurus/skinks etc

Would someone be able to send me any website links etc?

Just after so long away from the hobbie I'm a little frightened of starting painting and getting anything wrong, I got the SC box fully sealed through a trade and wouldn't mind using of the Saurus as a test which I've seen is a great idea

Unless you have a monitor with 99%+ color space covered painting on the models is actually the best way to test the color scheme. I cannot count how many times I got burned by colors that looked great on the screen that turned to be completely different and sometimes lacking on the models. If you don't like the colors you can always sink the models in IPA solution to scrub the paint later. If you don't have a spare models painint on the spare plastic or sprues.

If you can buy the paper color wheel like this it also helps a lot:

If the disclaimer above didn't put you off, you can try online color wheel as well:

    And most importantly:
Never be afraid to experiment and learn! :)

Thanks for the advice! Really appreciate it, I may even get another box just to build numbers and then use a few to experiment

Haven't seen that you already responded, but I updated the post with color wheel approach that can help you in early stages ;)

Oh yes! Just seen it, I'll have a proper study of this between work today haha

As long as I make them look good for my first time painting in probably 10 years plus away I'll be happy haha

    Especially the carno

I wasn't able to run that Flash component. Is there still a standalone flash player that is able to run this painting app?

Lovely, I see it is based on the old citadel colors.
But it gives a nice image of what the paintingscheme might look like
