    Heey gents,

Today I played two games against orruks. I won both of them but we came Ion a situation. I buffed my carnosaur with all I had, including a serpent staff. This rule states the following:

'until your next hero phase, whenever models attack with their bite or jaws, a wound roll of 6 or more causes twice the normal damage'

Does this work for the massive jaws attack as well?

It works with vice-like jaws, powerful jaws, fearsome jaws, massive jaws, gargantuan jaws, corrosive bite, viscious bite, fierce bite and venomous bite.

In short yes. It works for that one.

Awesome! I played against a mawthingy (wyvern) and instagibbed him in 1 round of combat. Kind of bizar, but works for me!

Rather than opening an entirely new thread about this I would like to ask a follow-up question. Regarding the Serpent Staff ability, in your opinion, would you say it would work for the Terradon's Razor-sharp Beak and Ripperdactyl's Vicious Beak? In the wording of the rules it would effect attacks with the words bite or jaws but it could one argue that beaks count?

I personally can lean either way on this considering how wording can be.

It was very specific to include bite and jaws, but left out beak, so I would say no it doesn't work for them.
