Single Temple Guard

    So here's my prototype color scheme finder... I'm pretty happy with him though honestly, the camera just hates my miniatures I guess :(

    looks good. I like the darker skin, makes the temple guard look harder!

    Try not to have brown as a background. You lose the detail on the back spikes and anything else that colour.

    Thanks guys!

    Bones/horns = base coat Graveyard Earth. Wash with Badab Black. Reapply the Graveyard Earth. Make a mix of 3-1 Graveyard Earth to Bleached bone. Layering the highlights. Then make a 3-2 mix and do the highlights, leaving some of the first layer showing. Then either a 3-3 mix or pure bleached bone. Next is bleached bone mixed with skull white and finaly pure skull white.

    It seems like a lot but it really goes pretty fast and was the "hardest" part of this to paint really as far as speed goes.

    Hope that helps!

    As for the background, my camera's don't do blue or white backgrounds. I'm not sure why :(
