Hi I'm new to age of sigmar, coming from a 40k scene. I was looking through all the order armies on the AoS app and saw Phoenix temple. Phoenix's being one of my favourite myths made me instantly want them! Here's my 1000 point list: --Command-- Skink star seer (160) --command+behemoth-- Scar veteran on carnosaur (260) Frost heart phoenix with annoited rider (260) --Battleline-- 20 skinks (160) 20 skinks (160) Now my 1500 list: --Command-- Skink star seer(160) --Command and behemoth-- Scarvet on carnosaur (260) Frost heart phoenix with annoited rider(260) Flamespyre phoenix with annoited rider (280) --Battleline-- 30 skinks (240) 20 skinks (160) --Other-- 5 chameleon skinks (120) The 2 people I play at the moment are both my friends and don't really bring overly Powerful lists. They both allow proxying so recommend anything you think I should use!
The phoenix' are fantastic units. Fast and work so well. Dishing out mortal wounds from the flame, and lowering the chance to wound on the frost they are amazing. I might drop ten skinks for a jade battlemage, keep them healed and with a spell cast within 12" keep that 3+ save. But looks like good fun.
If you don't mind me asking, what army is the jade battle mage part of? I can't find it's points cost in the generals handbook. I can find a battlemage, is that what you mean?
