Welcome To Slannta's Workshop Open 364 days of the year Please Note: The elves are supposed to do all the painting so please don't ask me to . My army is currently split between two cabinets and fills up them both I got to a point where I lost track of my model count but below will being to relist them by number alone as a starting point. Slann - 30 Saurus - 195 Skinks - 205 Kroxigor - 10 Saurus Knights - 25 Salamander - 6 Terradon/Riperdactly - 11 Stegadon - 19 Trog - 1 Bastiladon - 4 Carnosaur - 2
One tip, never write a list it just gets you depressed! I was going to do a list of what I had painted and what was waiting to be painted but it scared me too much.
I'm the opposite I love lists and spreadsheets <3 it's actulley encouraged me to work one each small part of my army one at a time - i'm slowing down on assembling all my models at the moment though because I have things in the post and am planning conversions
15 trees and a GW Empire tower, still waiting on a load of jungle trees from Australia then I can finish my Salamander KOW multibases.
I'm ordering models from Canada at the moment I've found a buyer with some I want I just need to save my pennies then hope they make it across to sea to me
I had the worst experience with ordering my fiancés engagement ring from outside the EU got chased so hard for fees I didn't agree to and that weren't made clear by the seller - I now know its more my responsibility to check but since it was an expensive purchase in the first place I had a lengthy convocation about costs with him and he never mentioned even the possibility of additional charges he just said the final price including post and packaging. I've learnt now to be more careful with overseas. But for the most part I get what I order from overseas with no complications
Some of my latest additions (another metal stegadon needs some work doing my cold ones and my Balrog I've started gluing)
Update: the stegadon's head fell off due to unfortunate circumstance he thought he could hang onto my dressing gown and escape my room ...just like the Balrog tried yesterday before I noticed him attached. My dressing gown is an evil force to be reckoned with - forget the one ring I wield a power all together more destructive in nature.
Obviously a force to be reckoned with that dressing gown. Is it a GW balrog? Looks more lizardy then the films make it out to be.
Yeah it's a GW I got for my birthday as a wee lad many moons ago I've lost one of it's wings but the tail and claws look lizard like in structure so i'm gonna see what I can do with it - I was thinking T-Rex style but i've gone and given it it's long arms - maybe my dressing gown can rectify that - My fiancée and I are planning some projects with green stuff but first we will have to learn the craft she is very arts and crafty so will probably take to it a lot better than me. Funnily enough when we were talking about it she thought green stuff was just a term i was calling it because i didnt know it's name im sure the substances have their own names though. I'm kind of annoyed at myself some of my old models would have been nice to use I had a forge world chaos war mammoth i ended up selling on ebay for 300 odd (in fairness i needed the moneys to propose but still ) i'm trying to dig out all my old models that remain to see what i can do with them - mostly im trying to sell them on Ebay to fund my lizardmen army.
Found this guy looking through my old bits - think its my brothers though I have no recollection of ever having Lizardmen - He's mine now though Is he a Temple Guard?
I swear I've seen these troops separate - I'm assuming his arms aren't both his then because he'd need to carry the slan and my brother said he used to have this model so probably lost the rest
Those guys are pretty awesome! Might do something like that with my Kroak! But then again, I do have a few other plans drawn up for him as well!
