Have to agree, I honestly liked it. They did a good job with it
The things I thought were kinda lame about the last episode:
- Picard's new body. Everyone saw it coming from miles away and it didn't really serve a purpose except we can have a few tear jerk scenes because Picard is dead. Even though we know he won't die.
- Skybeam and monsters waiting behind it. Just like in a dozen other movies, like all the Marvel movies. Yawn. Should just have been the beacon on the ground and that's it. CGI because... CGI.
- the gimmicky tool that can do everything. A useless plot device that does nothing and everything. It was....lazy and gimmicky. Those 15 seconds it helped was just to have an action scene. Because it seems people like action scenes.
IMO the whole series would have been better if they had just cut all the action scenes out.
Otherwise I am pretty happy. People will complain about it (or probably are already), calling it leftist or whatever, but hey, it is Star Trek. If you don't like that, don't watch Star Trek because that's what Star Trek is.
How is their physical relationship supposed to work?
P.S. You walked into that one!
Yeah, you got me pretty good there
