I did a game with one of the Lustria members here. It's doable.

I have tried it and have had difficulty using it. mostly I need to learn how to use multiple workshop mods at the same time, so I can have a decent battle ground AND have models.

It works grand. Our group has played a few games now, just as quick as real life once you get the controls down.

Me! Also we found a couple things. Firstly if a model is cardboard cutout style try using the attach tool and dragging from their base to the cutout, alot of times they technically are two different models that just balance well, though they can fall off. Secondly if models aren't stand upright it's probably due to the map. Me and Bacon played a map where models would randomly flip. Also the the 3rd and final thing is to utilize bags for your lists. If you go to object- tools you will see a bag option. Drag it on board (with your factions models mod up) then drag every model inside. Once you do this right click the bag and hit save object. Then when you play with your friend you host a multiplayer world with the map, drag your bags onto the field, and unload your army. Pls note, if you skipped attaching the models to their base, the models will come out seperate, a base and the cutout.

Pretty much this. I'd like to add on a few things in point form though

    - I find TTS quite liberating. You can run any list you want from any army you want, provided someone has the models. I ran a Terradon list recently.
    - Once you get a handle on the controls, it runs pretty much the same speed as an in-person AoS game
    - I find TTS less fun because you can't talk to your opponent.
    - You can save armies as loadable objects
    - TTS is not well optimized, it will struggle a little if you're on an older machine

Question for you guys who've used TTS (@LordBaconBane @ILKAIN @Davema @DeathBringer125 and anyone else) : were you able to find good "renders/models" of the actual miniatures?

I ask because in Caleb Hastings' review vid for Kroxigors (would link but at work and can't access YT), he uses TTS to try and show the range of the Moonhammer against a smallish mob of plague monks and he had managed to find the TWW2 Kroxigors. Kinda hoping that someone, somewhere had managed to create renders of all/most of our units using the TWW2. But if not, what did you guys find/use?

Not sure if they're purchased or what-not so that may be a good note to add.

(If TTS & this thread picks up enough steam might be good to sticky it somewhere and let people know about/share the model files they find. I'm sure the admins will do this if it gets to that point ;).)

The mod I use for Seraphon is called something on the lines of Lizardmen 2d/3d. It has some nice TWW 3d models

Is there any tutorial videos on how to set this up? I've downloaded the TTS on steam and managed to add the AoS mod with the 3D Seraphon models, but not sure how to start a game with dice/objectives/measuring tools etc. Any help is much appreciated!

If you search for AOS in the steam workshop you will find a template called DEIKNOS or something like that. has various boards, scenery battleplans and tools. you can build whatever map you want and play a game

I've played several games over TTS so far, and while the controls do take some getting used to, once you get the hang of it it's quite fun. The cardboard cutout models are a bit annoying, but there are maps for all the basic battleplans and die rolling tools that make dice rolling actually faster than on regular tabletop. Measuring is a bit weird, though. A lot of the models have issues where their bases aren't mapped quite properly, and you have collision problems when trying to pile in or otherwise move models close to each other.

Seraphon have all their models in nice 3d. We are lucky in this matter.
