    Dread Saurian
    Troglodon

    Total: 2000/2000

Total Theorycraft. Possibly Competitive? Definitely Fun!

So the general game plan is to eat your opponent's army unit by unit. Now not a lot in the game can completely destroy a unit in one go, so we are going to make up for this in the battleshock phase.

Step 1: Use your starseer to gain insight for re-rolls and give your Scar-vet on Carnosaur +1 to rolls.
Step 2. Use your skink Starpriest to give your Dread Saurian the venom of the two headed serpent, and summon starlight.
Step 3. Use your other skink Starpriest to give another behemoth(which one depends on game state) the venom of the two heades serpent as well, and cast arcane shield at the target most likely to need it this turn. When in doubt, go with Dread Saurian.
Step 4. Use your generals ability to set up nasty charges.
Step 5. Charge your Dread Saurian into the unit you wish to annihilate.
Step 6. Charge your other behemoths and knights into targets of opportunity, but remember to keep them all within 5in(for knights) and 8in(for others) of the enemy unit so as to stack their abilities.
Step 7. Do a ton of damage to the enemy unit, wiping them out, or weakening them severly.
Step 8. Battlshock Phase! Yay! Our favorite phase! Remember to remind your opponent that their unit is -2 Bravery from the Dread Saurian, -1 from each Troglodon, and -1 from each banner(essentially), for potentially a -8 Bravery.
Step 9. Remind your opponent about the Blood Roar from the carno. Give it +1 so you have a better chance of winning the roll off.
Step 10. Grin in evil triumph as your opponent removes the remaining unit from the board due to battleshock and blood roar.

Do it all again next turn.

Same spell can't be cast twice in a turn. Rule of 1. But change a starpriest out for a priest and pray to the dice gods! Looks like an amazingly fun list though. Well thought out theorizing!

You should be able to give two behemoths venom through the serpent staff since it's an ability right? Id like to take two just to give my Saurian and a Trog double damage.

My mistake, you are correct, I was thinking spell instead of ability.

So what if I'd want to use both on the same target ? I guess you can't double the doubled right Ending up with a 8 wound per bite Troglodon ? :p

Since the wording on the Warscroll says twice the normal amount of damage, I'd say it won't work that way unfortunately.

    Fun story about that ability:
I really wanted my friend's Orruk Warboss (his general) dead, but he was standing on a piece of terrain granting him cover, and he had his Boss Shield, so he was at a rerollable 3+ save.
I tried Arcane Bolt but failed.
I buffed the Carno with Serpent Staff.
I moved in the Carno to kill that guy.
I decided to do all attacks on the Warboss (there was a unit of ten Ardboyz also standing around in range) just to be sure.
I rolled the attacks of the Spear. All missed.
I rolled the Forelimbs. All hit but only one wounded, and the reroll of the save succeeded.
I rolled the Massive Jaws. Five attacks. All hit. I rolled wounds and got... FOUR SIXES AND A FIVE??? BUAHAHAHAHA
He saved NONE. I should have gone for the horde instead of the boss unit in retrospect. I would have wiped them out. I did 27 wounds on that guy. That attack would have onehitted a Maw-Krusha, even a Stonehorn! :D
    ...I still lost the game.

Reminds me of some of the old 8th edition all fear/terror list.
They worked well enough, until you faced an army that was immune to fear/terror...
Yea, there where quite a few of those back then. :meh:

On the bright side our monsters are much better at killing in AoS than they were in 8th. So plan b can still be just eat them :)
