Alright just curious if I am the only one who noticed this. But is anyone else annoyed that every big monster gw releases, has its mouth open with its tongue sticking out. Also almost every big lizardman has that problem too. Its just so unnatural, look at anything that screeches or threatens with its mouth open you will notice the tongue is firmly planted on the base of the jaw. Try it yourself look in the mirror and scream.

    Just to demonstrate.

It's not natural, and I hate how all their modelers add that in. Seriously look at the manticore, cocatrice, the new dragon, the zombie dragon, the salamander, the razordon...this list goes on. Anyone else frustrated with this let me know.

I suppose they believed a wiggling tongue would look more intimidating, but now that you point it out it does seem a tad bit silly...

Yeah they do it just for the visual of the model. I guess they think it looks better like that, though obviously some disagree. :p Now that you mention it, it is a little weird, but its never really bothered me before.

I agree completely. I think its ridiculous.

I mean, on some models it looks okay (Don't mind it so much on the new Terrorgeist) but for the most part I hate it.

Like the Wood Elf Treeman has is tongue poking out. Whats with that, trees don't even have tongues.

Well if you want to be technical, trees don't have arms or legs either.

BUT I just went and looked at the model, and I agree it looks rather silly on the treeman. I wonder what made the sculptor think that was a good idea.... :S

Has anyone else also noticed that they have snuck some arms flipping the bird on quite a few minis as well.

I know there is a Dryad that looks like it, and some lightning claws too.

And I think some of the old Chaos Warrior arms had it going on too

Older models used to do that all the time, they've been taking those away so the game can be played by little kids.

Which seems silly to me, what with the way pricing is going.

If a kid can afford a warhammer army, they are probably actually just a midget with a well paying job....

More likely they are spoiled by parents who would rather pour money into a creative hobby than yet more console games..
