Hello everyone. it's been a while since I posted something in this forum. Maybe 65 milion years... But I'm glad to see that Lustria is still the best place ever And now, I want to share a little thing i did almost 3 years ago. I brought it to Italian Golden Demon and I got a Finalist Medal. Hope you like it, my dear scaly friends Now, I'm working on a second diorama, still set in Lustria, in order to win that fuckin Demon If you are interested, I can post some WIPs (or you can find it here https://www.facebook.com/GodelPaintLaboratory )
That is AMAZING!! Great Color-Scheme, and the Water effects... wow...... damm that's good... Also a nice touch that the Water runs out of the frame Awsome diorama, wish i had just half of your skills.... - Bech
It was well worth the wait. What a splendid diorama! That is some INSANELY AMAZING water effects you've created. How on earth did you get it to look that great? Any work in progress pictures?
Water drops on the leaves?....... Warning!! Obsesive attention to detail!!! Fantastic piece! you even seem to have flying drops of water
I hope the new one is also a Jurassic Park reference Damn fine work there. To echo others: those water effects, wow, much moist. I particularly like the splashes! What did you use for them?
Reminds me of the midnight T-rex raid scene in Jurassic Park 2, haha. Great work! And great comeback post as well
That is breath taking, how did you make the tree and leaves? I also like how you have set the diorama inside an open book.
The water effects are mind boggling :O One of the best if not the best warhammer diorama I have seen. Well done sir!
Thank you guys ^^ Yes, I've some WIP photos, but for now nothing on the water effect. But I can explain it that was the point...I wanted the scene to be moist. It was my first competition and there were a lot of painters more skilled than me. So I had to work on the atmosphere rather than on the paintjob itself more...a Jurassic World reference that's the inspiration Along with a troglodon head spared... That was a late idea. I made some mistakes in pouring the water effect, mistakes I had to cover...so... Yep, this ^^ Thank you^^ For the water effects, there are three products I used 1) Prochima Water Effect for the still water of the pool 2) Vallejo Water Effect Gel for the waterfall 3) cotton wool and nail enamel for splashes
This is incredible. The whole thing is just mind blowing but the bit that really impressed me is just the water drops on the leaves.
