IT Professional currently working as a Storage Engineer for IBM mainframes. Basically I make sure we don't run out of disk space. Previously I worked as a Mainframe Database Administrator and as a "Network Engineer" specializing in Voice Communications. In other words, I made sure the phones kept working.
Since about 97, I have been an IT professional studying, self teaching, and working in various IT fields. My main specialty was Computer Repair/Network Repair. Finally, I finished my B.S. in programming and went on to get a M.S. in Network Security. Then, I got a cushy Govt. job that would not allow me to do any sort of computer/network repair. That led to 5 years of Report management and System Administration. Now, I have taken a new job that is a Quality Assurance Specialist. I will be traveling around the U.S. auditing contractors to make sure they are following govt. standards in relation to IT. Sorry for the long, drawn out explanation.
Graduated from Innovation & Entrepreneurship 2 one and half year ago. Started my own business in the Audiodesign and music department (mostly we produce voiceovers and music for cooperative videos) Not making a living from it yet though, but its pretty damn close! here is an example of our work. Everything you hear is produced and made by us (the raw speak file was thrown our way though).
