Were do you paint?

Some furniture got moved recently and this happened.

Lovely space you have now.

I plasterboard the loft ceiling yesterday and added a much needed shelf.
 
I'm jealous. I used to have a garage to paint in, with a table and a cabinet and a chest of draws all for my hobby. Now my paints are in a plastic tub and I paint sitting on the floor in my bedroom because the coffee table is so low.

Well I don't pay rent anymore, so that's a positive that comes out of this situation. When I'm able to buy my own place there will be a hobby table. Chotec and Sigmar demand it!
 
I paint in the living room. And that sometimes leads to some discussion with my wife cause I'm lazy when it comes to packing all the stuff away just because people want to eat dinner or so...;)
 
Only one un-panted model... That can't be right... ;)
 
Wow, look at you all with your actual tables. I've had to settle for a bit of wood balanced on my bed for the last 5 years. Yeah, my spine doesn't like me anymore...

Have you considered some sort of small folding table ?

My friends all used those. For some reason I can't quite explain I could never get used to them. Joking aside though, I've learned to lean into my various quirks (today I learned to paint left handed to reach some tricky angles for example). I like the results I have achieved with the way I do things, I gotta be me!

Right this is not funny any more, you paint on a plank on your bed and get the results you do, you are a genius and I hate you.
