I wonder if a bank will let me take out a mortgage on a 28mm scale fortress made out of plastic skulls.... I hope so.
Wow.... that's a lot of skulls, its definitely the most.... detailed? it might just be me but it looks overly detailed though that new totem/bsb on the cover looks awsome it also seems we'll be getting blood warriors soon as well
Damn @NIGHTBRINGER you have gone and done it now haven't you! I was debating starting a Khorne force and this has definitely swayed me to a yes!
You would think they would have givin us something tzeench wise with ghal maraz book being mainly against his forces
I've heard some rumours that Tzeentch stuff is coming soon. Of course, they're only rumours at the moment.
Just when I think GW is starting to go easy on the skulls for a while... They go and make an Entire Fortress out of skulls.
Even when they first introduce the tzeench wizard guy his fortress was covered in transmuted skulls syphoning magic from sigmars hammer, gw never really toned it down with skulls starting to wish they did
Now you know why they were going easy... they were saving up all the skulls for these terrain pieces.
This. The fortress is actually a Tzeentch fortress. Spoilers for those who want the story reason: Spoiler Ghal Maraz is hidden under a fortress controlled by a Tzeentch sorceror, Ephryx. He is using it to power the defenses. He has festooned the fortress with copper skulls which are part of the defense network. However they also store energy and when he has enough stored up he planned to shift all of Chamon into the Realm of Chaos. The Celestial Vindicators and Thoros showed up to take the silverway so he decided to use their magical souls to speed up his process. He lured them into attacking the castle but in the process had to use GM's power to defeat them thus alerting Sigmar and also depleting Ephryx's power.
Actually funny enough Khorgos Khul's towers weren't as festooned. They mostly had gargoyles on them used as part of a trap to send vents of steam at attackers. Although he was building a pyramid of skulls as tribute to gain ascension.
