Gotta say, sad to have missed it but those are super rad. If you do this again, I will certainly have to get in on it!
@snikrit I did order some spares, but I'll wait until after I send out the main orders to track down people who want spares. I can add you to the waiting list if you'd like. Also no news from Chessex yet. Hopeful to hear something soon! Last year when I asked them around this time, they responded and said that the dice were already shipped and I got them the next day, lol. Fingers crossed!
I dont think asking for updates and only getting "pacience" as a reply isnt very nice. Im fine waiting another 2 months, i just want to know what stage its in? Is chessex still making them, are they being shipped to qupakoco? Are they enroute to us? Is that to much to ask?
Oh i saw that. But he did say he was hoping to hear from them soon And its been a whole week since then. Things can change in a week.
Qupakoco is extremely good at keeping people apprised, I'm sure once there is a change in status he will provide an update.
i have since ordered an Audi A5 that had been built and delivered. Amazing that chessex struggle to knock together a few hundred lumps of plastic in greater amount of time. German efficiency i guess.
Been waiting over 5 months for a custom saurus conversion here. Was hoping to enter it in the previous painting contest, but it is taking much longer than originally estimated. I have a feeling the dice will arrive first.
Well.. Last time we got them around Christmash so.. I get them when I get them, I don't think too much about it. But then again I already have my old custom dice so I can easily wait, however, I can understand the excitement. You'll get your dice eventually though - and likely before Christmash
Congrats on the new ride. OOOO Audi: It was faster because Audi had 95% of it built (components) before you ordered. Once you ordered it was just a matter of queuing your set of options in, verifying that one of every required component was available, and letting run through the gauntlet of robots that is the production line. Chessex: probably not big enough for robots. Our order: too small to disrupt 10,000 dice orders. Gets worked on when it can be fitted in. It's OK — I do nothing better than wait patiently.
