I think I have found the supplier I need to get these guys out in the world. We are about to negotiate different things, and that is why we have reached the less fun part of my little venture....money. I am trying to make them sellers of the Set, but to do so I must convince them that the product makes sense to make. That is why I am asking you guys: what would YOU pay for the set mentioned below. Please keep in mind that it is important to me that you vote truthfully. If you vote too high I will end up with a storage of miniatures nobody wants to buy, which could really hurt me financially If you vote lower than what you would actually pay, the entire foundation of negotiation dies, and I might scrap the entire project, as it wont come together financially. I am not a wealthy guy, and I have to make damn sure that this project wont end up costing me money. I cant afford a "For sh#t n giggles" project, so if it turns out to be unwanted, it will have to stay as my personal hobby Whatever you vote, you are doing me a favor! as long as it is voted truthfully. That said: here is the product. The set will contain: - 4 Models in different poses (unitsize will be 2+), which can be seen and debated here' - Due to feedback: I will try to see if I can make a saddle that makes sense, to ease conversions. - Bases for each (as of now, it will be monster bases) - Rules will be found online, at a webpage I will make later (before release of these guys) DISCLAIMERS - The models are in one piece, and offers little customization. - No riders are included. I want them to fit whatever use you have for them, and as I cant exactly sculpt a Saurus to sit there because of IP reasons, I would rather have the purchasers make their own conversions for their needs. Call me lazy if you want, it makes the most sense to me. SUGGESTIONS FOR USES Do to their size they can be used for a couple of monsters. I found that it fit these two roles in particular: - Tyrannosaurus (small or big) , Reptilians, ninth age. - The Salamander MC from Kings of War This is the 1st pose, with a saurus for scale. Thanks in advance guys! if you miss any info or details, let me know!
Hi! so, i guess i made a good vote! hitting blind! i would say to get a set, i would even pay a little more if "mass-production" wont work well!
Noted! If that will be the case, I will make a Lustria-Online-Only collected offer. 1st priority will be you guys who followed the other thread
Well, I hope this goes well for you, Phat. Dealing with money is always difficult. Nailing people down for money is even harder. Good luck!
I thought that was a given The idea is not to "nail" anyone If they have value they have value, if they dont they dont. By doing this I hope to find a ground between people buying them thinking "I feel the price is fair" and for me thinking "This is worth for me to put work into". If I were freaking Oprah i'd toss these guys towards anyone who raised their hand.
Maybe my perception is a little off, but the scale pic makes them look almost bastiladon sized to me! Do you have a length measurement of them? Refraining from voting for now, as this could influence my decision.
Well, I wouldn't want you to toss them to me, I'm no good at catching, and a throw from Denmark to NZ would be pretty hard, maybe just send me a shipping container full of them, I wouldn't want you to hurt the models or your shoulder trying to throw that far
From floor to top of spike on shoulder , is 6cm = 2.36 inches They arent exactly small! I guess we solved that then
Thanks a lot guys! I now have the data I need, and am able to get a picture of what price you guys find fair. let me share it with you. Total amount of $ voted: Upper limit: 1125 Lower limit: 1025 Number of votes: 20 Average upper amount: 56.25 Average lower amount: 51.25 True average: 53.75 Meaning you guys on average is willing to pay 53.75$ for a set. This is a very fitting number, and I think it to be pretty fair. Depending on my supplier cost and the profit after I might be able to take it down to 50$, or maybe even further. Now we will see Thanks a lot!
