My min concern is: are they faithful to the style or will lizards change into something anti-daemonic in their appearance.. I hope for but doubt the former.
They will definitely use new style elements but they won't release a whole new range of models. I bet most of the plastic boxes will be compatible.
It would really be a shame if they drop the Slann. But as far as I remember there is no AoS artwork/fluff text/photo of Slann aside that one short story with Kroak. :/

Yeah, but the warscrolls are for Lizardmen. Respectively Whfb models. There are characters in the warscroll compendiums that were even already in the End Times dead. I hope for the Slann in the AoS setting. I really do not count on new models but a plastic Slann would be awesome.
it would be nuts not to be able to use the warscrolls... curious to see the starpriest. i guess carnosaur is the t-rex?
The Starpriest will be the Tetto'eko model I guess. Its summon spell is 'Summon Starseer'. I bet it's just a generic character now.
The names in the summoning spells could be a good hint for new names for old models... There are some cases where the name of the unit is different from the name that is in the spell... I guess we will loose some of our named characters and get some nameless heroes...
The Thunderbeast Host sounds like an army box but more like a few big beast than core units to start an army.
