Hello, my names Jack for those of you who don't know already.
I'm new to these forums but have ten years of hobby under my belt :)
I've decided to start here a blog of my upcoming Seraphon all Skink army, which I intend to be conversion heavy and full of colour :)
I've not yet purchased any new lizards, but thought I could at least say hello and share a few ideas.

I intend to make my army skink/monsters only. And possibly include a slaan/kroak at some point.
I'll be beginning with the contents of the Shadowstrike and Thunderbeast Starhosts:

    Troglodon
    Stegadon
    Engine of the gods
    3 rippers
    3 Terradons
    Skink priest
    40 Skinks

The troglodon will be converted into a Spinosaurus like the one in Jurrasic Park III, the spare carnosaur head will be used on the engine f the gods to build an Arcanodon.
I'll be converting some skinks into chameleons, and may at some point buy some seekers of slaanesh (boo hiss heresy) to mount skinks on, sculpting terror bird heads into the steeds.

I'm as of yet undecided on a colour scheme, but I'm thinking classic turquoise for the skinks and then I might take inspiration from natural colours and patterns from tropical birds for my beasties.

    Hope to get posting soon!

    Yes that would be cool!

Great work @JackwolfskinK ! I really like the spikes on the skink's legs. Maybe some more feathers on the bird's wings?

Thanks, I'm not sure just yet. I was thinking of doing them white with black plumage and then orange legs, and red and blue wattles like a turkey or cassowary. I might go rainbow colours though.

I'm thinking of adding some feathers yes, at the moment the wings are just boney limbs. I'm undecided as to wether these are mature or not yet.

Ooh, I like that Daemon Prince! I got Bela'kor fairly cheap from Ebay, and was thinking of similar colour scheme, but with blue as base colour. I'm eager to see what you can do with the Lizards!

Cool, belakor is a beautiful model. I look forward to seeing how you do him :) I've painted two before, one purple and one red :)

Also, update, started painting my skinks. Gone for a white undercoat (feeling brave, I usually pair on black) for a nice bright scheme :)
