That's a bit too wordy. It doesn't roll off the tongue. Also implies the contest entry and/or prizes are edible.

Golden Panda rolls off the tongue quite well....but I don't need a contest named after me. While I am handsome, intelligent, wise, mighty, generous, and regal, I am above all humble. My humble is the greatest humble in the history of the world.

Looking forward to the contest as well, "Golden Serpent" seems fitting!

Any idea of the time frame/entry due date? I'm wondering cause when I'm at school I don't really have time to paint. :(

We aren't quite sure exactly when we are starting. We meant to start a week ago but we are waiting to hear back from a potential sponsor. I won't say who it is but I'll give you a hint it...never mind no need for shaming tactics. Identifying them might make them frantic.

Plan is to give a sixty day window to paint/convert. About a week for the staff to collate the entries. Then either 20 days or 30 days for voting. We are going to have to two tiers, table top quality and master class quality for each category. At least three categories. Probably more than that. In addition to first, second, and probably third place prizes we are probably going to raffle a few more prizes so non-winning entries will go in a drawing for our extra prizes. That's right we have a LOT of prizes. In fact a modest portion of them is sitting in a box next to me waiting for me to mail the contents away to lucky forumites.

By the way, will it be only lizardmen or also other armies? And duels? Dioramas?How many models can we present? One per category? Just one? More than one per category?

Pretty sure it's open to any type of model but some categories may be lizardmen/seraphon only, it's not final yet so things could change but it is going to be epic, I won't give too much away but I'm really excited.

That's why we have multiple categories. Some categories are going to be Lizard only, some categories will be everything else.

If it fits with the category rules you can pose a model in a duel or diorama.

We are still working on the details on that one. Most categories will be single model but we are weighing to whether or not to have a regiment or unit entry category.

Yes, if you paint your guts out you can enter every category though you can't go into the beginner and advanced tier in the same category. One per category though. We also do not allow entering the same model(s) in two categories unless you enter a conversion piece (which has to be unpainted so we can see what you did) then you can paint it and submit as a painted piece provided it fits the criteria of both the conversion and painting contest.
 
That should be enough time for even me trying to get something done to take part in this... ;)

When you spot an obvious typo it's more polite to use a private message to inform your friend. Obviously I meant sixty year window. The prizes will go to your grandchildren.
