Hey all, I am going to start making some lizardmen terrain. Anyone know of a site or blog with some pics so I can get some ideas. I am also looking for a site that sells jungle plant terrain base in the US. I know most people use aquarium plants but honestly I dont think it looks all that great, especially when its not painted. Thanks!
You need @pendrake he has some good links if I recall, look on ebay for plants but you want brass etchings or paper, something like these. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GreenLine...081444?hash=item5d60264d64:g:5IwAAOSw~otWeL2v http://www.realityinscale.com/epage...egories/"Green Line"/Laser_Cut_Plants__Leaves

Awesome stuff but i was hoping for somethign US based. I was thinking Michaels maybe a good spot too.
Also Wal-Mart, and Target has some stuff in their fake plants isle. and yea Hobby Lobby has a ton of that sort of stuff, just like Michel's.
Good source of inspiration is terrainwench on you tube. I can't recommend you anything before linking to this, so here you go:http://www.terragenesis.uk/showthread.php?tid=353 For plastic plants I take normal decoration plants and peel off all the small plants. I recommend sticking them with hot glue and then I wash the with seraphim sepia to remove the plastic gloss and also tone down the green. If I was you I wouldn't use brass etch as it is expensive, requires painting and will bend if you touch it, and being terrain for wargaming you will inevitably bend it. Hope that helps
I've heard that works really well. It is something I will definitely do when I get around to making more terrain.
There is a bunch of material in this thread: http://www.lustria-online.com/threads/i-want-to-see-everyones-terrain.14875/page-2#post-123195 I had a link in there but the whole thread is chock full of pictures and ideas. Well worth a look.
Probably not very useful in America, but here goes... Theres some really good terrain stuff you can get in a shop called HobbyCraft. Despite the name it isnt a warhammer shop, its a genuine craft shop. I have no idea if its local business or an international chain of superstores, but its worth checking out.
After a brief Google search... Yep it's purely a UK store. (and you seem to have quite a lot of them)
I didnt really mean it as an apology like that, more as an "bwahahahaa! I've given you some hope and now I've taken it away again! Im so very evil!"
