Hiya!

A while back my brother-in-law gave me a Seraphon starter kit, and some paint, after showing interest in his WH40k army. The reason he got me the Seraphon one is because he knows I really like lizards. :)
So far I've added to my lizards a Bastiladon and a box of Terradons/Rippers and I'm awaiting a huge "crate" of paints as well that I ordered a few days ago... *excited*

I've been looking at a lot of pictures from all you guys painting your models and I haven't gotten anything but impressed so far, really looking forward to seeing more. ^^ I love the inspiration I get from looking at all those pictures and I decided to start this blog-thread-thingie and show my own progress with my army as I paint along. I have some experience of painting since I'm a very creative person but all these tiny plastic lizards really puts my shaky hands to the test! (I've watched a looooooot of tutorials on painting WH... :P)

Hopefully you'll enjoy this at least a bit and I'll try to update this as often as I can! :D

Lots of Love / Lileah

Starting off with a cold one, black base coat and one layer of Sybarite Green.
(I sprayed half of them black and half of them white and planned to paint them in the same colours to get them to be cohesive but a bit different from eachother...can't say I've seen much of a difference so far... :p)

Not that many pictures of the process "inbetween" but here I have one that is almost finished. I reckon I might need some more lighter dry-brushing and some highlights on the scales. Any thoughts? :)

And yes, I need to do the bases as well ofcourse!

Welcome aboard! The cold one looks great! Can't wait to see the white primed ones to see how they differ. Really cool concept.

Thank you! :) I'm working on one at the moment, you can actually spot it in the background of my first picture... :P
Right now I can't see that much of a difference but I'm gonna try to get some good pictures of them side by side when it's finished.

Are you converting one of your knights into a scar-vet on cold one? Would definitely like to see what you do with that.

I'm probably not the first one to post a personal painting blog wrong...but if anyone know how to move this thread, please let me know how so I can put this in the right place! :)

No idea, to be honest. I'm really new to this so I'm just trying to get some paint on at least some of them first. Haven't assembled any riders for them yet though, so who knows? I probably need to read up on army lists and so on to get a good grip on what "troops" to go for to begin with. But I do know that I will buy more and more models so anything can happen, really! :D

Howdy partner, welcome aboard this forum on the internets. You can find anything, from painting tutorials to glourious memes and arguments about whether square's are better than circles.:D

Those are some lovely painted Derp/Cold Ones, looking forward to the next things you decide to show.:pompus:

Thank you! I've been reading a bit here and there, mostly looking at pictures, drooling over models and terrain. :P I'd love to get started on some terrain as well but I must focus on the lizards first...must...not...get...sidetracked! :D

And thanks! It warms my heart. ^^

Well if you need any help with army builds we will definitely give you ideas.

Looks like it's in the right spot. I'm assuming it was moved already?

Great thread! Looking forward to the rest of it!
