Yeah I saw that too, If that's RRP i'll definitely have to go with a discounted reseller to make it past the Wife test!
OMG you need lessons in getting past the wife. 1. Sell your shit on Ebay 2. Paypal balance is healthy 3. Spend paypal 4. Get items delivered to your work place 5. Tell wife you have had it ages 6. Rinse repeat
Yeah, definitely won't be one I am paying full price for... £95 is still a decent price considering it's basically rule book + 2 start collecting kits + all the other gubbins. Would be at least 150 separately?
Keeping a good supply of boxes for start collecting kits and various other bits around helps cloud her vision! Throws her off the scent!
Haha I usually just don't tell her what I've been buying. Part of the problem is I don't want the nurgle stuff in the first place, but I guess I can sell it off for a decent recoup.
The Death Guard dudes look like they're gonna be fun to paint. I am tempted by them... But Space Wolves are also super tempting so might skip that box altogether and get me some wolves in space instead.
I am undecided on the box set at this point. The price is just too steep for me. I may go with the main rule book and the Xenos 2 book. I'm lucky in that three of my main 40k armies are all in one book.
Point in the general direction of te enemy? They don't look like the type of guns that require any real accuracy.
I tend to skip steps 1 and 2... But yeah, not a fan of the jetpack guys at all. I can kind of see what they were trying to do with them, but too many things are off point. Those metal hoods have got to make it hard to see, which isn't a good thing when you're hurtling around a battlefield with rockets strapped to your back. The shield plate things on the pistols seem pretty pointless, but nothing some careful clipping can't fix. The leg braces are weird - like they couldn't walk properly when they land. And that pose makes them look like they can't control their actions and they're just stuck hovering in the one spot waiting for something to come get them.
