All that talk about post counts has made me curious and I just checked mine.... wtf... I am sure posting a lot here. I haven't even been here for a year.
Yeah most likely, that pretty much happened for all forums I have taken part in, it is just natural. Either people slow down or they start spamming. @NIGHTBRINGER clearly is the latter kind.
You won't believe this but @NIGHTBRINGER did disappear for a while a bit like @Bowser but he came back stronger like all good Sith Lords.
What intrigues me about this forum: People actually use the "like" button! In every other forum I (and other users, not just me) have significantly more posts than likes, often a factor of ten or even a hundred. Around here everyone has more likes than posts.
Try doing commissions locally. Get some business cards from Vistaprint. Get photos of your painting printed out at Walmart for cheap, and throw them in a cheap photo album to be used as a portfolio. Don't you mean his sacrifice to the gods? You started it. Hooded crowsfoot to crowsfoot: Pop in from time to time, but stay relatively inactive. Local commission work is a start
@tom ndege hell i was very surprised to have made money with this hobby. I was not even looking to do that but i got better and showed a few people and they offered me too much to say no to lol. So my wife is happy that i at least sometimes make money although it goes right back into the hobby GROW MY BACK LOG GROW!!!!
Spammiing?! Each post Most posts Some posts are carefully crafted to ensure they are of the highest quality! Ahhh... the days of my Chaos taint. Back then I was pretty active on the WoC forum "Chamber of the Everchosen". I amassed quite a few posts there as well, though not nearly as many as I have over here. I haven't been to that site in ages. I find that I typically stick to one forum at a time (and this one is my favourite!). That trend was definitely started by @n810 and @Bowser
There you go... another like for your collection. I think a large part of your post-like ratio stems from the fact that the majority of your posts were made before the like button was added to the website. You probably had somewhere near 5000 posts before the like function was introduced. Older posts are typically lost in the deep pages of the forum and consequently they receive far less likes. So if you subtract your old posts from back before the like button, then your post-like ratio is somewhere in the vicinity of 2 likes per 1 post.
That's because i write meaningful and helpful posts, with the right touch of humour. Don’t know about all of you. ..
