I'm afraid they are the 6th or 7th edition ones, those that look like they've been twisted to get the water out of them. I might do both things at the same time for sake of variety. Oxyotl, will be painted orange. I like the latest paintjob Heavy Metal did and also Orange will be an amazing contrast with my normal turquoise Skinks.
I know we all decided it was best to start with my final 3 Kroxigors to finish the unit entirely... and then this happened: I had my favourite miniature ever made in my painting table and the time and ability to paint it the way it deserves after more than 10 years and I just couldn't help myself. That is an intense day worth of work right there, and I'm pretty sure I'm not painting anything orange again EVER. I'm happy I decided to go with that scheme for him and not a unit of 10 Cold Ones for example, I wanted some orange for my army and now I have it. I'm finished with that dreadful colour, extremely hard to get a good result and very tiring as the paints are so transparent it's not even funny. Hope you like him! More soon!

Sorry, I use Flickr now but it doesn't work with the phone really so I thought I would give the old photobucket a try.... Lesson learned. Will change it now!
Oxylotl looks great, you have brought out a ton of detail in that model that I didn't realize was there! He almost has a burnt-effect on the back of his scales, it looks great!
It's an amazing miniature, extremely detailed and textured. I'm having a blast painting it, even having to deal with the pain of the Orange...
Small update guys, wish I could have more but I'm dedicating an excruciating amount of time to each detail. I'm actually having a BLAST! Most fun I had painting ever, hope you enjoy the journey too! Today I advanced further still and started one of the most challenging parts, the poison bottles! Here is a quick picture of my first attempt and I'm quite happy! Sorry that I couldn't get a good focus on the part but it's quite hard with a phone. Thanks for reading!
IT'S FINISHED!!!!!!! I really hope you like him as much as I do. A part of my soul is in that little fella.
Thanks! The model itself is full of detail and texture I just capitalised on that and dedicated as much time as possible to even the tiniest thing. As I've said this project has been really special to me.
It's indeed a beautiful model! Might be one of the reasons it lasted for so long... I bought mine nearly 20 years ago and it was still available online when AOS came out... Your paint job really does it justice! One can feel the dedication in your work. Excellent job! Really to good for just the gaming table...
I also bought mine when it came out but didn't know you could still buy it when AoS was launched, that's an insane production run. Of course the model deserves it as it is amazing. Also, thanks!
Right now on the painting table... LOTS OF SCALE-LY THINGS! And a very confused GCPS marine that's been surrounded by anthropomorphic lizards.
