Many of you may have seen these miniatures before...

...but if you are like me, and your google-fu has failed to bring up any good pictures on whether or not these Warmachine/Hordes gatormen are at a good enough scale next to a GW saurus or skink lizardmen.

So to fix this, here are some size comparison pictures for you. I only wish I had some actual kroxigors handy to add them to the pictures as well.

As you can see, the gatormen are not very tall compared to a saurus warrior, but they are suitably more imposing than a little skink. Especially when viewed from the top:

They definitely take up a lot more space than a single saurus does.

When I finally get them painted and based I will add a few more photos. They are a much cheaper alternative than the GW kroxigors as you can get 5 in a single box! And they are much more "crocodilian" than the current GW kroxigors anyway.

Compare to Total War Warhammer 2 art:

    Are those resin or plastic?

The box/website said they are plastic, but they feel different than any GW plastics I have ever gotten. Had I not gone back to look at the source I would have said resin. They remind me much more of the GW finecast Chakkax model I got a while ago, and the reaper-bones miniatures you see in game stores.

Yeah, the word "plastic" can be used for a lot of different materials.
GW and Mantic models are made of Polystyrene but other companies use other polymers. the good thing about Polystyrene is that it is soft enough so it doesn't break that easily and can be easily cut, and still hard enough to keep nice details. ABS for example is much harder (the Stuff Lego is made of).

I never thought of Lego being made of a similar material to GW/other companies stuff, but that makes a lot of sense.

ABS is much more durable though, which is why Lego uses it. Virtually indestructable.

Especially in a Lego vs. foot standoff... Lego always wins!

Gatormen are complete and base (both round and square), here are some more comparison pictures for your reference.

Hmmm... I still can't say if I like those Gatormen as Kroxigors or not.
If I only knew the Kroxigor from the TW2 PC game I'd absolutely say yes, but the regular GW Kroxigor we all know don't have _that_ much in common with Crocodiles...
    Hmpf.... undecided.

Your Gatormen Kroxigor look cool though. :)

I have seen these guys before, no clue how they match up to the ones from Hordes though. If I find a picture I will post it as well.

They are the bane of feet everywhere. We could easily use them to counteract terrorism. We could be fighting terrorists and chuck legos at them. They would all fall down for cover and wouldn’t be able to get up for fear of stepping on one. We could win all wars with them. Lol

I looked around and found some of the Crocagators were $7.50 each; But there was one that was $99.95, for one figure!
