It would (in my opinion) be hilarious if Mrs Nightbringer loved AoS. I could imagine the arguments now Mr: "AoS sucks! Every last bit of it!" Mrs: "If you say that one more time, so help me, I will kick you to the dog house, and feed you kibble!!!" Mr: Mrs: *vindictive glare Mr: *goes off muttering how AoS does suck, but muttering very quietly.
You are mistaken my young apprentice. I possess knowledge from both the light and the dark side of the force. And I am unafraid to utilize them both!
He isn't misreading the plaques, but his Chaos taint has corrupted him to actively hate many things. A follower of the Old Ones shall not show hatred or succumb to the Dark Side. Perhaps we should replace the Slann with one far younger and more powerful... (Just kidding Nightbringer)
Are the Old Ones even mentioned in AoS? What is the driving force behind the Seraphon; what is their motivation? The other Slanns are @n810 , @Crowsfoot and @Bowser @n810 is the oldest of the Slanns. His wisdom is always revered. @Crowsfoot resides over the lands of painting @Bowser is on vacation, he has forsaken us (for the time being) but the great plaques tell of his glorious return
Same as it was in fantasy, the slann are just more pro-active in executing the great plan and murdering chaos now seeing as when they didn't do much the planet got blown up. Also according to some of the fluff there's some doubt if they actually do the right thing or not. E.g. there's a bit of fluff of a slann having a vision of some giant battle and it's unclear if what he does will cause the battle or prevent it, at least to the narrator not sure if it's also unclear to the slann himself... Also, apart from the slann very few actual seraphon live, unless they've managed to create new spawning pools. So they care even less about massive losses to claim 1 artifact seing as all the losses are imaginary saurus anyway
This is why I don't like AoS lore. Imaginary dinosaurs fighting immortal demons. Talk about boring. There is no real reason to care. Oh wow. The blood letter got killed! Oh wait, never mind, he is back. Or "Oh wow, we just lost a scar vet to that enemy GUO. Oh, Never mind, he is back." Talk about boring!
