The problem is, that out of all the factions, Seraphon are one of the largest and most developed. There are many other factions that are in much more desperate need for an update. Agreed! I largely agree, but I would say that all the WFB armies were tainted by evil to various degrees (not nearly as much as the 40k armies though).
True, they did show their crueler sides from time to time, though as you said, not nearly as much as in 40k (Which isn't really saying a lot, since the "Good" guys are a bunch of xenophobic, racist, extremely overzealous, slowly degenerating bunch of religious maniacs who worship the basically-a-corpse of their god, destroy entire planets at the barest hint of "Chaotic Taint", and transform traitors and deserters into partially sentient cyborg automatons that constantly endure excruciating pain until they are finally granted the sweet release of death in service to the Imperium.)
Imagine if woogity who works for CA now showed his tyrants to GW, sold them to them, and woogity kroxigors became cannon?
I think they would be popular. Not sure if GW will take the time and resources away from their other projects though.
I'd like for chaos to not be pure evil for once. Or at least not as completly and utterly hellbend on destruction. Some cooperation with morally gray forces would be cool.. I just want us to be updated so our outdated rules fit in again.. there's quite a lot of our rules slowly being broken it's getting depressing.
Well Nurgle is not pure evil. He actually cares for his "children". I'm not sure if that is what you had in mind though.
That'd be fine if he didn't try to horribly infect everyone and everything with his deseases. Let's take sylvania as an example. Most of the vampires are generally evil and don't have any qualms torturing people. However, they don't necesairly try to turn every single thing they see into undead. They want to rule, and in order to rule you need subjects. Hence they're capable of diplomacy and being (somewhat) civil. It'd be entirely possible for a vampire to show up in front of an empire general to suggest they team up to stop that massive waagh that's coming down from the mountains before it kills both of em. In contrast the a nurgle lord would just be throwing infections at both other factions regardless of how screwed he himself is...
Well, every Chaos Gods general doctrine is something along the lines of "Screw everyone else, I must be superior", which is why even Chaos doesn't often ally with other elements of Chaos. Besides, death is different for servants of Chaos. Some of them are outright immortal, like Chaos Daemons, while others are so religiously zealous that "Death" means nothing to them, since they'll just be reunited with their god in the warp. Other then that, Skaven are the only Chaos race left, and they're to suspicious of everyone and everything, others of their race included, to ally with anyone.
Nurgle does spread his gifts to all those around him, but remember that his own children are essentially immune to them.
it's boring.. wish they'd done t hat differently. Or at least made chaos less of a focus since it's basicly just a force of nature at this rate.
