Probably a good idea.im skeptical. Not a has had bad reviews. Customer support is apparently hot garbage, although not nearly as white hot as CMON

So far the reviews have been limited but positive over in the other thread you started.

Oh-oh.....
Now how do I put that..... I kinda hate the character. I have a huge aversion to all-mighty god-like characters. IMO characters without real weaknesses don't give enough room for good stories.

That being said: John De Lancie plays the role well, and there are some very nice scenes involving Q in Star Trek.

How can a character become a McGuffin?
I'd rather say their biggest problem is that they are being used for cheap Deus Ex Machina endings. Superman being a prime example.

Which ones were his weaknesses? Except maybe hubris but he can afford that.
And yeah IMO the episode in which he loses his powers was by far the best one involving him.
