Found these, labelled as from the Discover Mexico museum in Cozemul. Dioramas! Pretty sure this one is the Uxmal Great Pyramid (Pyramid of the Magician) Talik Aj? This one looks like part of Palenque based on the stone lintels on the doorways: Awesome inspiration for tabletop terrain!
What was once thought to be a pyramid built on the side of a hill at the Mayan city of Tonina, I recently read that turns out, the hill turns out to have been a giant pyramid! It has been so overgrown over the centuries that archaeologists mistook the main pyramid for a hill! Looks like a pretty epic place! One of the stela at the site: Monument 146 at Tonina, looks like it is now in the site museum: One last shot of the main complex!
