Also, we already have big burly corrupted plate-wearing chaos warriors. Fitting in chaos SCE would be weird as hell..
All the named character for the nighthaunt has been reveled. You can look at them on the Warhammer community together with their respective stat lines. https://www.warhammer-community.com/2018/06/25/25th-june-heroes-of-the-nighthauntgw-homepage-post-4/
Interesting stuff. You can really build a solid full-nighthaunt army. Prepare yourself, 'cause I believe we'll see a tide of ethereal undead lists, in the same way we had Flesh Eeater Court proliferation some time ago. Not that is a bad thing…
What about a Tomb King? Do you remember those? @Lord Agragax of Lunaxoatl will back me up on this one!
I will indeed - Tomb Kings do not serve, they rule, especially against Nagash the false usurper! They take pride of place as the lock screen background for my iPad, so that whenever I turn it on, the first thing I see is always the golden hosts of Nehekhara! And it should stay that way!
Ahhhh the good old Tomb Kings.... I really dont know why GW chose to get rid of them. Cool minis, nice background, epic monsters. I really hope they reconsider and bring them back with new models, or at least resell them as legends. 5/7 would buy some
Agreed absolutely. I would certainly invest in a Warsphinx or Necropolis Knights kit if GW brought it back as made to order, even just as a hobby project. GW looks to be bringing back each of the fantasy armies for Legends, and all those that lost minis in the transition to AoS look to be getting at least some of them back for a week courtesy of Made to Order, so the Tomb Kings kits may well return soon, especially with the influx of Death kits coming in, as the first Legends army was Dark Elves because the PDF was released at the time Daughters of Khaine were getting their release.
Probably because it was harder to develope them in the direction taken by AoS. The same for Bretonnia. (it could have been done, especially as "dedicated" army for Arkhan, but the point stands. Tomb Kings are Tomb Kings... while dwarfs can introduce Fyreslayers and Kharadron). I'm surprised that Seraphons are still there.
We are still here because they were Lizardmen and the renaming gives GW more options in AOS. If you think about it TK and VC had similar looking models, skeletons so it makes sense to ditch one, I personally would have preferred a combined force of TK and VC and then introduce new stuff like the we are seeing now.
so eh... how has this resolved the story? He did his magic to kill all things trick and now what? Is everything dead? Are there just slightly more ghosts than normal? Did it fail cuz a skaven stole a few diamonds? What the hell was the changeling doing other than floating around? There were slanns in that army, why have they not done well anything really. This is confusing.
Chaos has tainted the magic so we now have a very different world, feels a bit World of Warcraft to me.
In fairness, warcraft was a warhammer rip-off cuz they couldn't get the official license for some reason
It mattered little, in the final reckoning... The ^ Pull Quote ^ that mattered, in case anyone missed it. (They did a right proper job burying the lead...so it was easy to miss.) So glad I didn’t read all the intervening stories...skipping to the end was absolutely the right call.
