    Wonderful colors!

    I strongly recommend looking at getting some miniatures "fall" leaves from a craft or hobby train store to scatter around the bases, it will really bring the models together and complete the autumn look.

    Yeah I think that would work very very well indeed. My ancient is about 95% complete (I moved house finally so he’s sadly been put on temporary hold - gone for an older bleached look with pink blossoms - because i saw one on the web that looked ace and I wanted him to stand out in the army (he still has some tying colour schemes to keep him from looking too out of place) pics will be added soon

    I actually have one of those. It works pretty well! You just have to get the right kind of paper from your local craft store.

    That's what I struggle a bit with.
    I tried mine and it works, but the results don't look _that_ convincing yet.

    Yeah, that worked kinda decently, the problem is that those will rot and fall apart at some point, won't they? And I don't want to spray varnish over them because I often have grass on the bases and varnish looks a bit crappy on the grass fibres.

    I use Testors dullcote and I've not noticed anything on the grass fibres if anything it helps them stay stood up.

    That's a sizeable army! And you don't even have to strip them.

    I saw this on ebay and thought it was not a bad price for the models included, it was £300 + p&p when I put a watch on it

    On top of that stuff I also have another get started set, skink box, priest and two boxes of rippers/terrors.
    Safe to say I won’t tell the other half (now how am I going to hide them)???

    One of the reasons why I still have not carnosaur... nearly impossible to sneak big stuff like that into the house ...

    As I have a solid amount of minis on the way (most of which won’t actually feature in my armies) simply because there are too many choices.

    I’m going to cut up and convert a whole bunch of them.

    Any ideas from anyone, anything that people haven’t seen before or would like to see done? I’m open to any suggestions (providing it tickles my fancy)
    Any of the models listed above and any crazy/hard to pull off idea are welcome.

    Slaan-
    First up I will cut to pieces the slaan, currently I use the bog standard toad but after seeing a lot of solid work from you lot, I want a more impressive one for myself, thinking;
    Floating amongst temple/runes/glyphs above a tide (and I mean tide) snakes, a couple of rat men succumbing to said snakes, for the base.
    Slaan man himself;
    -closed eyes
    -one hand outstretched casting short lightning bolts (azure lightning) that run up and down said arm.
    -second hand held close forming an orb of light (summon star light)
    -he will wear some extra (not too many) facial/headdress glyphs.
    -his throne will have added extras to bulk it out (also the odd snake or 10)

    Skink star priest -
    Again sticking with the snake heavy theme (I like it and it’s relatively easy to produce via green stuff)
    -Left hand turned up holding snakes (running down arm)
    -right arm waving (now flaming) snake headed staff.
    -adding more feathers and a snake skin cloak.

    Others too but don’t wish to spam you al with an essay

    Why not sell a few of the ones your not going to use, Skink Cav would be cool
