It’s really good. Be interesting to hear how it is in practice. No game for me til next week where I will try out. I’ll start a new topic with my list nearer the time
Couple of 18 point things. Eotd, Kroxigor, 20 saurus warriors, trog, and the super cool astrolith bearer
You’ve got a fair bit, good heroes! Just go for a couple of boxes of battleline that you like to use and you’ll be laughing.
Thx. love Saurus so much more then Skinks, but the are really good . Maybe i get some luck on ebay and can skip my skink problem
I got some old ones with weird bows on their backs. I like them. They stay at the back. I just tell people they’re from out of town. Edit... Yeah, I need to get my head around the pile in.
haha nice idea with the skinks. The Pile in thing is really a changer. maybe i will take more warriors with clubs.
how do i get 13 summoning points in every turn? in turn 1,i cast the vortex. but the vortex cost 1 spells slot, so i can cast now 3 spells, so 10 summoning points in turn 1. if the vortex does not get dispelled i get 13 points in turn 2 and now have 23 points in total. thats is 1 point missing to get a bastilodon or carno. how do you manage this?
Slann can cast 3 spells so in turn one you cast vortex and cogs, then you have the following, in theory Turn one 3*3+1+D3 (3) = 13 Turn two 4*3+1+D3 (3) = 16
vortex and cogs, that could make the difference. but i will not place the cogs. i have the slann and maybe a vortex, so bastilodon sounds impossible in turn 2. and the D3 is what exactly? i dont set up an astrolith baerer
As I understand it you need to do the celestial conjuration before casting any spells. But you could cast cogs whit an other wizard.
I think its better to not use the vortex and just take 10 points per turn save. cogs could be an option, but you need a second caster like a starpriest which is 80 points more and a problem. and he cannot reroll the cast, so he can fail it ok, if i change the vortex to cogs, put the knights out and one starpriest in this would be exact 1000 points
