Hey guys as I've been playing I've noticed Seraphon don't have healing or at least mine don't anyway is there any model/models you would recommend for healing?
What comes to mind: - Engine of gods heal d3 wounds in 3" for 3-5 roll; - in thunderquake starhost large monsters heal 1 wound per turn or d3 if slann is near; - Emerald lifeswarm Endless spell heals one unit in 1" for d3 wounds every round; - both Hysh and Ghyrran have spells that heal d3 wounds; - Shyish command ability allows general to heal any number of wounds in exchange of dealing mortal wounds to nearby unit; - Several artefacts from the realms.
Heavenswatch also heals a bit, similar to the Thunderquake. But otherwise @Nart has covered it all I think.
Which is usually what you need. If the enemy doesn't try to kill the beast it's already dead. Jokes aside, we need healing a little less than other armies... with summoning it's easier to replace dead models, rather than heal the wounded ones.
plus most of what we would need healing for are just masses of single wound models... (Warriors, Skinks, Guard) so actual healing wouldn't be effective unless it could restore slain models as well.
Only thing you need to heal is your Slann so just deploy an Eternity warden near him and have him take the wounds
Are eternity wardens a must if you deploy a slann? Since they are technically flying can you actually screen them with other units (e.g. skinks) They only have seven wounds and they are integral to all your summoning, so I could see them being sniped a lot.
I wouldn't say they are a must, but if you fear sniping then an Eternity Warden is certainly a good choice.
