Yeah, I also thought about picking constellation instead of rolling randomly for slann could be a good idea. I hope, they will add at least 3 more. It will be like SCE "chambers" for us.
The Constellation choice would be......stellar! Hahahahaha uh-hmm anyway, I really hope that part is true almost more than the spawning pools!
spawning pool could be so much... maybe a summoning mechanic without a slann... maybe near a pool you get more summoning points.... maybe seraphon units get buffs near by... maybe you can spent some "pool points" to evolve a unit in another.... so many posibilities
Anyone else who has the fear that an Astrolith Bearer won't work for Skink armies anymore? (Possibly something else for the Skinks instead)
Not really, because of mixed allegience rumor. There are still units that has inter-faction abilities like Skink Starpriest. Even if this is really the case, they should give something instead.
Fair enough. That being said: it would be kinda cool to be able to field a "pure" army. Right now quite often the only Saurus in the list is the Astrolith Bearer.
Troglodon and carnasours feel so bad compared to other monsters, same with Saururs. I doubt they change skinks and if it is at the cost of our cool badass looking models actually playing like they look.I'm fine with that. I wanna play an army of fearsome dinos not little skinks that just run. Tbh I wouldn't mind summoning being reduced for us if that means are minis can hold their own. Plus then a slann can so more then just sit there...
@Womboski you read my mind! That's why I keep moving away from Seraphon to other armies. Fingers crossed these rumors are true!
that's why im starting a fyreslayer army... no where near as many points, ill always be a true believer in the old ones.... but sometimes you gotta dip into a different spawning pool if you know what I mean lol
Just a heads-up everyone if you hadn’t seen it already, rumours are firmly set on Seraphon and Fyreslayers being the next two armies to be updated after Flesh Eaters and Skaven according to TGA - Seraphon new releases are expected to appear in March and Fyreslayers will get reinforcements around late March-April.
I doubt it. Right now the astrolith bearer does more to help non-saurus parts of our army. With only 1 ability that helps saurus directly. If anything I bet he will be an HQ choice for a mixed battalion. A skink astrolith bearer would be interesting!
Ooh, here's an added bonus: we'll finally get all our warscroll cards in that new marble-and-gold design as opposed to the old slightly amateur-ish looking stuff. Joy!
Ok besides the apparent multiple sources, I just read this. US getting another building to improve distribution and England getting an update to factory. This rumor is becoming credible for two reasons. First off, multiple sources and the simple fact the oldest faction in sigmar was seraphon. Secondly, they state in this article that 2.0 is regrowing the hobby, even bringing old fantasy players back. This says alot with what could come. https://spikeybits.com/2019/01/gw-announces-huge-expansion-in-the-us.html
Luckily I’ve come prepared with what he said, assuming we’re both talking about Ndabreaker: Although he also says Flesh Eater Courts and Skaven will be after Seraphon and Fyreslayers despite the advent of Carrion Empire, so a pinch of salt may have to be taken with it.
Beast were completely unexpected too, while everyone was waiting for Grot release. I guess, Seraphon just taking the same role here - filler between larger releases. Since not much needed to fix our battletome, I doubt GW struggeled with it. At least, it should be way easier to rewrite and test in comparison to ones with many new models. I won't be suprized if lizzies are coming before carrion empire or darkoath.
