Thanks for the reply. IMO defensive ones are the best aswel. And both EotG and Slann, are key for a succesfull game. I'm going for Ethereal Amulet on the EotG and Incandescent Rectrices on the Slann. What are your thought on that?

-1 to hit will increase your survival more then the Incandescent Rectricies in my experience. Ethereal Amulet on the EotGs is nice. Having your basties and your EotG rend immune is pretty gross.

That's pretty solid, a combination i want to try, ESPECIALLY in a thunderquake.
Ethereal on the engine and a couple of basti… you have a block of 3 dinos that don't suffer rend and re-roll failed saves. it's massive, you only have to blast things that inflict MWs and you will be golden.

All heal d3 :D so think they are pretty durable. The slann could be wraped up to avoid CC. And add some skinks or razords for LoS.
Only afraid of ranged mortal wounds. But for most you need line of sight. I only have the old slann, and can keep him quite out of sight. Dont know if the new slann js bigger or higher

Safe bet is it is bigger. my understanding is the overall scale from the old models to the AOS models was an increase.

Unless you go for the really old model, the one with a palanquin phisically carried by 4 sauri, the model of the Slann is unchanged since many edition.

I have that one! I converted it a bit tho. Got rid of the Guards en made his throne flying.
You cant really see, because the salamander is blocking sight, but its on a transparant flying base like rippers are.

So the opponents are known, and also their army lists. See list below. Im not all too worried on objectives. I think I can grab them with the skinks.

Okay I think I know how to handle it. I first wrote done my T1 tactics. But I dont dare to post it. Just in case xD (we do have the best forum).

So a bit cryptic, but my main threats are:
    - Incantor with comet. Need to remove asap
    - good screening the heavy infantry
    - zone out my backfield
    - dracoth breat

I’ll go very defensive this game. Use CCP for the little dudes, and have some flying bombs up my sleave for the dracoth (so cryptic xD).

    Any advice?
