well that shoots my grand elf book idea in the foot still good for them a lot of those factions needed this its just a shame that none of the cities support lizards. let us hope that we get some love sometime soon.
I love the new battletome, both of them. But most of all the cities of Sigmar, cause that's the one i'm going to use.
I hope those are conversions and not "To be released" because if so then that is easily some of the laziest miniature work I have ever seen from Games Workshop.
You haven't seen my conversions, then! Ok seriously I think those are just some fan works they chose to display.
I have, you're better than this and as a company GW should DEFINITELY be better than this *ObviousDisclaimerIsObvious*I'm not especially chuffed with GW at the moment*ObviousDisclaimerIsObvious*. I'm going to er on the side of caution and assume these are just fun bits.
They absolutely are! Just a strange choice to have those on display at an event where Seraphon get nothing. That said, I’d happily take the direction of Kroxigor being (strong melee) mini-bastiladons, if it was done better! Edit: Unless it’s a tease at what we WILL get? Krox, Slann and rules for the Tiqtaqto as a unique hero again...
Plastic Kroxigor (with updated rules), a plastic Slann (likewise) and a new Skink Chief, possibly on a mount? I'd sure like that!
So here are factions, left without/old battletome: - Gutbusters (no battletome, highly likely they will be merged with BCR); - Beastclaw Raiders (old battletome, see above); - Slaves to Darkness (no battletome, almost confirmed to be merged with Everchosen and Darkoath); - Everchosen (old battletome, see above); - Disciples of Tzeentch (old battletome); - Legions of Nagash (old battletome); - Kharadron Overlords (old battletome); - Your favorite lovely lizards (ancient battletome). This leaves us with only 6 battletomes to be given to existing factions/updated. But Forbidden lore gave hints about new undead faction too, and we don't know how many absolutely new factions are coming. GW may want to update earlier editions battletomes too, like Nurgle and DoK, giving them endless spells. And there will be certainly new Stormcast release with lots of new models and chambers, no doubt. I have a feeling that Seraphon to be updated last. But it better be something good then.
well of the ones hear Slaves to Darkness Everchosen and Kharadron Overlords need it most i do hope we see anything by the end of the year. i mean when was the last time we got anything a new model book lore there was that one short story but beyond that its been years.
It's nice to see the Cities of Sigmar, I've been saying they need to consolidate the generic fantasy factions since AoS came out, and I'll probably use that battletome as I build up my Stormcast and expand into all the city factions. I'm definitely disappointed with the lack of Seraphon though.
I wouldn't call Legions of Nagash an old Battletome! It is the first of the recent series, with Spell lore and artefacts and all kinds of cool gameplay mechanics and warscrolls that are still the same.
So I see we have a lot of bone themes going on.... maybe we can get a citadel bones pack full of ribcages, femurs and stuff ;P I mean joking aside I would for sure get a kit with with elephant graveyard style accessory bones.
Nope Just skulls. You Will het loads of varied skulls though, so with some creativity you could building vertebrae out of skulls, to make it extra skully
I can exclusively reveal that we ARE mentioned in the new book! ... simply to state that Seraphon are the one army with the ‘Order’ keyword which can’t be taken in a Hammerhall army.
