AoS 2K - Shadowstrike & Incantor

    This Shadowstrike list plays around with some endless spells and the Knight Incantor. The idea behind it is that it forces your opponents into difficult deployment and movement choices. Shadowstrike, comet and shackles is a combo that has a lot of potential, especially in certain matchups. The Comet and Shackles may not be entirely reliable but I think they will still affect how your opponent plays and deploys. @LizardWizard has great tactical advice for the meat of this list so I wont break that down here.

    The Dais may look super random but I think it's a great way to actually get mileage out of your Incantor. With a 12 inch fly and extra unbind he actually becomes a midgame/lategame threat. He can zoom up the side of a board and go blowup 10 man enemy units holding objectives and then you can TP skinks onto them. I think it's an interesting idea.

    I like this list!

    The Dias is a great spell imo. It doesn't get the credit it deserves.

    I would definitely take the BwV over Shackles. The Knight-Icantor and Comet gives you a lot of splashing mortal wounds. Missing out of the Astrolith is rough simply for the +1 to casting to help with BwV and Cogs. The extra d3 CCP is also nice. I wonder if it is worth trading the Skink Starpriest and, I can't believe I am saying this, the Razordons to fit the AB.

    I need the Priest for the battalion :( Yeah I was thinking about how hard it would be to cast Cogs without the AB. I do think this type of a list could function on lower CCP. I typically focusing on getting skinks summoned so I tend not to store up a ton of points, but the AB is a great support piece.

    3x razors are good but maybe I could remove them and the Balewind for the AB. That's definitely something to consider and I think when I get the chance to really play test it, I could see what works. You could also cut the Cogs and keep Balewind. I wouldn't mind starting the game with 10 more skinks.

    Doieee, right. I knew that. lol

    I rather like the versatility of cogs, but I think BwV provides more for its cost. If you only take one of the two I would take BwV.
