Hi, I dont find the answear for my wuestion so i came here... hope you can help me! When we start playing matched play like for exemple Shifting objectives, what happend when the army of enemy player is destroy on T2 but he have more victory point? The game over on T2 and he win??? I dont find the rule who said exaclty: "Game is over when a player dont have models on the table..." Thx for the help
The game is always five turns. If you kill the opponent's army on turn two then you can score as many objectives that you can reach on each of the remaining turns. Tabling is not an automatic win though. You still have to control the objectives.
Thank you very much for the answear, can you tell me where can i found that information....some people don't believe me haha
It is in the core rules. It is not stated in the manner that I did. It only can be inferred through the game lasting 5 turns and the win conditions stated on the battle plans. Instead, ask them to show you where it says the game ends when one player is tabled.
If you read the victory conditions of each battle plan there is normally a phase something along the lines of: "Which ever player has the most victory points at the end of the 5th battle round wins a major victory. If both players have the same number of victory points then the player who killed the most wins a minor victory.... ect". Or something there about. So, a victory is only determined at the end of the 5th battle round. This doesn't specify that both armies must still have units on the battle field.
