Can you please give me a screenshot, because organizer gave me this. I cannot check it by myself, unfortunetely.
Thank you very much, you saved my day! My only guess is that this could be connected to PDF version of GHB, but I'm not sure.
All I ask is that you yell LIZARDWIZARD as loud as you can if you win the event Also, don't tell anyone why you did.
they are beautiful! back on topic tho, EoTG or more razordons? It’s a serious question as I have both and really don’t know which to stick in
Razordons for Battalion benefits and damage. EotGs if you want to play more into board control and objectives. Both are great options. Both can be bit swingy, but EotGs is by far the less predictable. Ripperdactyls, Razordons, and EotGs are the good units in our army
Probably EotG as I lack board control and real objective control. Sure the knights and razordons do okay but an EotG sounds more potent
It is near impossible, unfortunately, because most of players are more experienced and have better armies (well, in current situation, almost every army is better than seraphon if built and played properly). But I can do it if I go 3 out 5 wins. This would be equal to winning an event in current meta. There are 3 DoK players with almost absolutely equal lists - Morathi, Slaughter Queen on Cauldron, 70 witches (some replace them with sisters of slaughter), 10 kinerai and 2 hags+cauldron guard. Others are 2 stormcast evocators+sequitor spam and evocators + double ballista. 1 FEC with massed ghouls, one Khorne player who won the previous tournament, single sylvaneth with treemen, couple of CoS lists, single skaven with 80 plague monks and 9 jezzail, single Ogor player with 4xStonehorns. Most feared of all - Fyreslayers player who ended up in top 3 in one of GTs. He is bringing 30+10+10 Hearthguard berzerkers, 5 aurics, runefather, runesmiter on magmadroth, battlesmith and runemaster+lords of the lodge. Honestly, I don't have a slightest idea how this list can be beaten with dracotion's tail (or any other seraphon list). It looks too durable for alpha-strikes, it is fast enough to grab objectives, it kill anything that we can throw at it and we can do very little damage to it.
All of them are weak to shooting, so try spamming razordons and salamanders as much as possible. They melt away pretty quickly under intense shooting as they lack real counters
Are you running DT with Shadowstrike? If so, hit one of the big units of With Aelves with your Razordon shoots and the other with your Ripperdactyls. On the following turn send in the ScV on CO and the Saurus Knights into the unit you shoot. Likely, you will be able to take out both big blobs of Witch Aelves and at that point you should be able to win on objectives If you want to go for the kills then: Take second if you can and deploy far enough back to keep your core units safe. Let your opponent spread out. Pick a single theater of the table and use your battalion mobility and LoSaT to cripple that section. Focus on killing the Witch Aelves, don't bother with Cauldrons. They are single model and two units of skinks can steal the objective easily. If you want to play control: Take first turn. Trap your opponent in their deployment zone as much as possible. Focus on stealing enemy movement for your first three turns. Make sure you are scoring max possible objectives every turn. Focus your combat into units that you can fully kill or kill enough to survive their counter attack. Edit: Also, if you take the Carno with DG Cloack and ScV with Betrayer's Crown then try to use both of them on Turn One or Two. The Carno Should finish whatever your Razordons didn't and with DG Cloak is it safe to swing with it later in the turn.
there was a known translation/typo error in some of our books, especially in German. this might be part of the miscommunication. there is no FAQ because it was correct in other languages.
Yes, this one. On topic of tactics vs DoK, I was thinking about charging one witch blob with Rippers and the second one with ScV and Oldblood, activating both artefacts and wiping small unit with Razordons. Would this strategy be viable? What really bothers me is 9" charges if I wouldn't be able to cast cogs.
It is viable as witch selves lack good saves. Isolate them to remove their stupid synergies and you should be ok. Ripperdactyls and razordons do offer ideal solutions to deal with them so they are indeed, very viable
