I don't mind religious Christmas music. It's not out of religious conviction. I just think "O Holy Night" is of higher musical quality than "Frosty the Snowman." I'm sure there were crappy religious Christmas songs written but most of the religious Christmas songs were written centuries ago. Chances are if a song sucked in 1750, few people bothered to write the notes and lyrics down and copy them. What's left is the best of the old music. Most secular Christmas music is a product of the 20th or 21st century, so there has been less time to sweep the weak stuff under the rug. Also, recording was easier in the modern day. There are still some good modern Christmas songs. I think this one is solid. Maybe a little bit more autotune than is strictly necessarily but I enjoy it. And just to keep things on topic. You better feed him lots right now Or face his puppy attacks!
So we have a plethora of cute dog versus cute cat memes. What we don't have yet, is the equivalent of negative political attack ads. We will see how many people change their vote to "Dog" There are so many A-list stars in Cats that I am expecting a mass purge of Hollywood agents. "How dare you tell me this movie would be good for my career!"
