I hope you are right but either way saurus feel very underwhelming in this game. which makes me sad Will probably have a guard as my leader but the rest will probably be skinks and flyers Tho i could be wrong since we dont know their cost, HP or tougness yet
I have a friend who brought up a good point. The knight having 20 wounds at 115 points is really good for their cost. So a warband with alot of knights might have some good staying power
so I snagged this from the video. Can't see much but it may help with some of the decisions. I just want Saturday to get here already so I can really start list making lol.
Having 2" range on the Temple Guard is pretty solid. It's crazy how useful it is. Hoping lance knights have 2" as well
Looks like we're sharing at least three abilities with Untamed Beasts: Cold-blooded Commander (double), Train Meteoric Barrage (triple) and Wrath of the Old Ones (quad).
What does the barrage do? I main Untamed Beasts and their quad has saved the day all too often. "My Plaunsrunner moves up to your leader last action. I get priority get a high quad and explode him" lol
I took the liberty of inserting the abilities for Seraphon on 1d4chan. Rain Meteoric Barrage can't all be cleary read from the BoLS-video but you can make out the rest from the shape of the wording. It matches with the Pounce ability from Untamed Beasts. https://1d4chan.org/wiki/Warcry#Seraphon

I've always envisioned us as the opposite, quality over quantity, from what I've heard about fantasy and the lore it's the case. Just not in AOS RN.... Never played Warcry tho
Looking at the Seraphon cards we can see. • Skinks have a similar profile to a giant rat from Skaven (heresy), with more wounds and ranged attacks for certain skinks. Anyway 2 toughness is the lowest of any unit. • Saurus combat looks similar to skinks (lots of warbands have the same though), but they will probably have better toughness (3-4) & wounds (10-15?). So saurus should be "better" than skinks because of that. • Our Temple Guard leader has a 5 toughness and 25 wounds, which is on par with most leaders. • Our flyers look solid but expensive. • Our knights might be the best mix of stats and cost (once again). However, once again, they are the same speed as a skink which makes me assume they'll still be slow in our new battletome.

If I read it correcly it says Add the value of this abillity to the damage points allocated to each hit or critical hit for the next attack action made by this fighter this activation that has a range characteristic of 3 or less.
Wow, Tearing Bite is quite powerful! Also, 12 move is going to break the game completely. I felt overpowered with 8 on my Untamed Beasts...
Wow Thanks for postning this. Now im really hyped to build my list I did not expect saurus to be so cheap but if i want to play elite i can play guards so its all good. Also yes flying 10+ move is broken Source my friends idoneth warband with eels
