Hissss tierzoo! edit: I can go more into depth about the videos problems if you guys would be interested
I never liked the game Outside. I'm stuck on one play through, no fast travel no save points allowed. I did get the achievement "L-O moderator" but that isn't worth many evolution points.
So first off on stats: It’s pretty obvious that he did little research research on dinosaur intelligence. The herbivore behavior is ok, but not fantastic. More likely they would act more similar to a group of ostriches, opting to run rather than fight. In this respect he did an ok job, but he royally messed up on the tarbosaurus behavior. First off, as we all know Tarbosaurus is a relative of T.rex, and is a tyrannosaurid. One of the key things about this group was that they tended to smarter than their nearby competing carnivores. So to depict them as charging out into the open and roaring, is not only wrong, but totally worsens the chances of success. next to note; his stuff on cosmetics was downright stupid. Color changes generally indicate the health of an animal. This also applies to other characteristics. Larger and more impressive features are generally do not interfere with other functions, and again are used to indicate how an animal is doing physically. His stuff on feathers was also pretty bad. He shouldn’t present a theory that hasn’t got a huge amount of research behind it. Feathers rapidly diversified, and its highly unlikely that such a large animal would incubate small eggs in the same fashion as a smaller bird. While possible, it’s more likely that feathers would be used to help adjust overall temperatures. The best analogy to this is likely large crocs which are more similar in weight. They don’t lie directly on top of the clutch of eggs, rather they build an incubation chamber and lie on the nest, moving on and off it to help adjust temperature. In a nutshell, he shouldn’t present one POSSIBLE use of feathers as the primary reason of their existence. Then there is the final fight; oh god was this butchered. Again the tarbosaurus would not charge straight forward, no predator with any brain does that. As stated before it would find a good angle of attack before rushing in and killing its prey. In the fight, the tarbosaurus lands a bite on the neck. Being a large tyrannosaur, this would have instantly killed the deinocheirus, and ended the fight there. TLDR: he royally messed up information on dinosaur intelligence and behavior. His stuff on tyrannosaurs has consistently been terrible highly underestimating their intelligence and hunting prowess. I may have missed something but that’s the gist of the problem. I seriously wish he would improve his research on this stuff
I like Tierzoo and Zefrank1 but all their new videos make their way here. That's not random! That's predictable. I give you...RANDOM!
If you think about it, Quetzalcoatl is kind of like Central America's version of one of the Old Ones.
Your advice may well be in demand then with the current Coronavirus affair! https://newsthump.com/2020/03/04/na...-advice-on-how-to-stay-at-home-for-two-weeks/
I advise all who want to avoid the Corona virus to use the Lustriapedia to read everything I ever wrote and shower my pieces with likes. Then read everyone else's fluff pieces and do the same. That ought to keep anyone busy for two weeks. Drink lots of milk for the vitamin D.
