It helps that I pull off minor defeats and always get my hidden agendas. Also my defeats are to the second or highest ranked players in the ITC.
This was a concern of mine. Since they are treated as being in the building. Hopefully GW will give us some clearification.
Your games workshop store should actually have a table like that. Or their tables should be 4' by 8'. That they dont is actually really wierd. Every game store I go to that's the standard table size.
yeah def still small. my local game store has tables that are 4x8 feet, we put terrain on the first 6 feet and the other two are for putting stuff that's off the board like books or models in reserve.
We just have 4x6 tables, but I’m the only player who summons stuff and the local meta is all about who can beat the life out of the opponent fastest.
yeah but that's still regulation size. like I totally get not having that table to play on at home or whatever… but a store that supports Warhammer should have at least 2 4x6 tables and some terrain.
My thoughts on the terrain piece. . . It's wonderful Its HUGE. Looks like you can hide a Carnosaur behind it. Its flavorful. Giant terraforming machines that create a place to live for our alien space dinos. Also just people dying as our machine tears up the earth. (I'm thinking like MTG Zendikar style) Even if this is the only ability it has I think it is powerful. Free mortal wounds are free mortal wounds. Having even just a unit of Saurus Warriors with +1 save and -1 to hit that can all fight even if one tiny model is barely touching the temple in close combat. . . Also note that if the enemy is in close combat with models inside the temple you can have it choose itself for the mortal wound output. Question about the garrison ruling: it says if a garrisonable terrain piece is wholly in your territory you can deploy units inside at the start of the game. Does this supersede the 9-12" away from your opponents territory that battleplans specify for deployment?
I've only played Alex Gonzales's and Jeremy Veysseire's Ossiarch. Other players don't scare me nearly as much. Specially since I was able to pull minor defeats vs them
I would say yes. as the garrison rule is a specific rule on a warscroll and so it supersedes the general rules of the battleplan. If i'm wrong on that somebody let me know.
Yes, you can, which means if our carnos become like frosthorn levels, we'll be charging in and smashing face turn 1
Imagine they will show us "all beasts army" today or tomorrow and announcing a brand new Serpahon battleforce - with 2 Stegadons, 2 Bastiladons and 24 Skinks.
